Noel
Hi, I’m Noel. I’m the lead carpenter and also co-owner of Carpenter Near Me. I was born in Ireland and in 2019, with my partner Casey, we moved to Canada. As an owner of the business and lead carpenter I enjoy being at the heart of the work I do, and love providing our clients with as much satisfaction as possible. My passion is to deliver truly top-notch projects which leave a lasting impression with our clients. With over 18 years of experience as a qualified carpenter and Joiner and a career that has spanned 3 continents, I feel I have perfected my skill set having learned the best processes each continent has had to offer.
In my spare time I love checking out an Ottawa Senators Hockey game along with taking in some hiking or snowboarding with my partner Casey.
Casey
Hi, I’m Casey and I am also a co-owner of Carpenter Near Me. My background is in MEP cost consulting and estimating and I have a real desire to help correctly plan and budget projects with our clients. I love challenging myself and learning new skills and although primarily considered the “office person” you will often see me on site weighing in with work load as I’m a big believer in having a hands-on approach and helping projects come to life.
On my time off, I love hanging out and hiking with my dog Charlie. I also enjoy what Canadian winter life has to offer such as ice skating, and snowboarding.
Chris
Hailing from Austria, but now settled in Quebec with his wife, two kids and dog. Chris, originally a Sous chef prior to the pandemic, found himself, like many others was massively affected by the impact Covid-19 had on the hospitality industry. Whilst trying to re-discover a new career path Chris found that he had a natural carpentry ability. In 2020 Chris began retraining as an apprentice carpenter with Carpenter Near Me and we feel very privileged to have such an amazing team member who is equally as passionate as we are in delivering our projects.
In his spare time, Chris enjoys using his newly honed carpentry skills to bring many of his home projects to life.
